Marc Dimino

Marc Dimino has been playing competitive tennis since the age of 7 years old. He has worked with 8 different top coaches over his career which gives him the knowledge and competitive experience to help make you successful. He was Chesmont High school Champion 3 years in a row from 1990 – 1993 and District Champion in 1993. Marc has been interviewed and featured in numerous news papers including the prestigious Philadelphia Inquirer for his successful tennis career. He is a 2-time tennis All American from Downingtown High School in Pennsylvania. In addition, he finished in 3rd place receiving a bronze medal in the Pennsylvania State Tournament two years in a row in 1992 and 1993. Marc was ranked #11 as a junior player in Middle states – New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania and ranked #2 in the state of Delaware. Throughout his high school and college career, Marc worked as the Assistant Tennis Professional at Whitford Country Club where he gave private tennis instruction to kids and adults and ran clinics for both the Junior and Adult teams. He also trained for 3 years with a private coach who learned from Dr. Jack Gropel. Dr. Gropel worked with top players including Pete Sampras, Jim Courier, and Jennifer Capriati. Marc went on to play NCAA Division 1 College tennis at Penn State University in 1994-1997. Marc Currently plays casual tennis with local tennis pros in the area including a former ATP Touring Pro. He currently resides in Raleigh with his wife and 3 kids and enjoys coaching his girl’s soccer team and spending time with his family.
